Clinical practice is often characterized by stark boundaries and varying mentalities between professions and disciplines, which can impede vital communication pathways needed for safe and effective patient care and for collaborative workplace learning. This session will explore beliefs and behaviours that promote team reflection and inclusiveness, such as the importance of psychological safety and perspective taking, leader inclusiveness, and inclusive leader language, and offer practical strategies. This special guest presentation is being co-hosted by the Wilson Centre and the Centre for Advancing Collaborative Healthcare & Education (CACHE).
