The Canadian Coalition for Green Health Care Advancing Sustainable Care (CASCADES), in partnership with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, is presenting an Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) series on the health impacts of extreme heat. Sessions explore patient risks, staff safety, and system challenges, and share practical strategies such as heat response plans, cooling centres, and wellness checks. The series also highlights key lessons learned throughout the 2026 heat season. After July 14 the next sessions are on Aug. 11 and  Sept. 15, 2026.
