The Women's Health Research Cluster at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health presents a monthly talk series focused on diverse factors that influence women's health outcomes. The October talk will introduce the Dimensional Affective Sensitivity to Hormones (DASH) framework, which conceptualizes hormone sensitivity as a dimensional, transdiagnostic risk factor for mood symptoms across the menstrual cycle. The speaker will share experimental evidence demonstrating how distinct hormonal triggers contribute to the female-biased risk for mood disorders and suicidality—challenging traditional diagnostic boundaries and advancing the field of precision psychiatry. To know more about the event please click the 'Register Here' button.
