To celebrate Nursing Week 2024, the Toronto Academic Health Science Network (TAHSN) hosted its second annual Nursing Week Panel event featuring panelists Karima Velji, Silvie Crawford and Sandra Carroll and moderators Sonya Canzian and Jane Merkley. The panel discussion was on nursing and our health-care system, the exemplar of initiatives driven by nursing leadership, and future opportunities. The event was open to all nurses including nursing students, clinicians, faculty and leaders in Ontario.
Navigating the Current Landscape for Nursing: Challenges and Opportunities (May 11, 2023)
During the 2023 Nursing Week, the Toronto Academic Health Science Network (TAHSN) hosted a panel discussion and Q&A on current challenges in our health-care system, current initiatives and proposed solutions.
The purpose of this event was to acknowledge Ontario's nurses and shine a light on the nursing profession as the backbone to Ontario's health-care system - past, present and future.
The event was open to all nurses including nursing students, clinicians, faculty and leaders in Ontario.
