BRI Global Guest Speaker Series: Do we truly understand what 'intensity' means in the context of neurorehabilitation
The Bloorview Research Institute at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital presents a monthly virtual event series focused on childhood disability research, rehabilitation, and inclusion. Each session features leading international experts and fosters learning, collaboration, and dialogue among researchers, clinicians, families, and community partners worldwide. January’s talk will explore how intensity is defined and measured in neurorehabilitation. It will draw on research that examines intensity reporting in clinical trials, identifies outcomes to quantify intensity in pediatric upper limb neurorehabilitation, and compares conventional and technology-assisted therapies in pediatric inpatient settings.
