The February edition of the Bloorview Research Institute's Global Guest Speaker Series will feature Annette Boaz, Professor of Health and Social Care and Director of the NIHR Policy Research Unit on the Health and Social Care Workforce at King's College London. In this talk, Boaz will examine why research evidence so often fails to shape everyday practice and policy, despite its potential to improve care and outcomes. Drawing on recent work, she will highlight practical ways to better embed evidence into routine decision‑making through strong relationships, collaboration, and systems change, with a focus on health and disability services, including those serving children and families.
