Unity Health Toronto and U of T are co-sponsoring a new Health, Equity, and Research Talks (HEaRT) webinar. This webinar will feature Sonia Anand, Senior Scientist, Population Health Research Institute, who will discuss how diversity in clinical trials can be increased. Anand will discuss her study on how reliance on traditional recruitment tools, such as posters in English in hospitals and clinics inviting people to volunteer, leads to over-representation of white European participants.
