This Nursing Week, the Toronto Academic Health Science Network (TAHSN) is hosting a live, virtual panel discussion on nursing and our health-care system, the exemplar of initiatives driven by nursing leadership, and future opportunities. The panel will feature the following nursing leaders:

  • Karima Velji, Chief of Nursing and Professional Practice and Assistant Deputy Minister, Ministry of Health, Ontario
  • Judy Linton, Chief Nursing Executive and Executive Vice President, Clinical Institutes and Quality Programs, Ontario Health
  • Silvie Crawford, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Sandra Carroll, Chair for the Council of Ontario University Programs in Nursing & Professor and Vice Dean, Health Sciences, Executive Director, School of Nursing, McMaster University

This event is being hosted to recognize the immense contributions of Ontario’s nurses and celebrate their impact on our health-care system. It is open to all nurses including nursing students, clinicians, faculty and leaders in Ontario. This event is being moderated by:
