TAHSN guidelines on increasing transparency on animal use in science
This document outlines guidance to TAHSN institutions and their respective research institutes, as applicable, for increasing transparency related to the use of animals in science. Each TAHSN institution is encouraged to consider these guidelines and apply them as it deems appropriate. These guidelines were developed by the TAHSN Research (TAHSNr) Committee's Animal Transparency Working Group.
Each TAHSN institution that uses animals in science has local ethics oversight in the form of an institutional Animal Care Committee and is certified by the Canadian Council on Animal Care, and registered under the provincial Animals for Research Act.
